    • Irvin Frederick Flack is the third child of Eva May Butcher and William Moore Flack. He was born on 09 May 1920.

      As a young man, he was affected by the great depression. He collected fire wood from the bush and sold it in bags.
      As an interest and to make extra cash he and his brother James Ramsay Jr had a small band, they played and sang in pubs or on the show boat. Irvin played the guitar and James the Saxophone.

      Irvin married Joyce Muriel Branson in 1941 at Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia. When they were first married they lived at Newtown and later moved to Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia.

      Irvin Enlist in the Australian Army at Loftus New South Wales. His service number was NX146361. One of his places of Duty was Darwin. He served until December 1945 as Corporal in the 54 Anti Aircraft Regiment.

      Irvin was a carpenter by trade, who built cottages and later did building maintenance.

      Irvin died on 27th May 1994, just 13 days after the death of his wife Joyce.
